St Valentine’s Party by Krambambulya

The scandalous meeting of rock musicians with the president’s administration last November and the end of the ban of their concerts seems to bring the first positive results. February has become the month of concerts when many beloved bands came back to the stage. There was a concert of Krambambulya, Neuro Dubel. A joint concert of IQ48, Zet and BN is planned for the end of the month. The fans are happy and hardly find time to post their impressions about one concert on the Internet when it is time to go to another one. All of the concerts were sold out with literally no free space left. On one hand the public is hungry for concerts, on the other hand the bands organize great shows which fascinate the fans. The most colorful concert was the show organized by Krambambulya for St Valentine’s Day in WestWorldClub.

On February the 14th, one of the biggest clubs in Minsk was turned into a chapel of St. Valentine’s, where couples could come and get married by the famous priest, and celebrate this event by listening to al live performance of Krambambulya project. The role of St. Valentine was performed by show-man Viktar Shalkevich. He had three beautiful helpers who organized the marriage process and who were giving special marriage certificates designed by Generation.bY to the happy couples. The document certified that the couple is married from the moment they sign it to the last note of the concert. Apparently, Belarusian couples are eager to make their marriage official, given the huge line in front of the “marriage office”.

Another surprise came from the musicians of the project. Krambambulya is one of the most optimistic Belarusian bands. This is a unique cross-cultural and multi-style experience, charged with great melodies, positive emotion and a real rock vibe. The leader and frontman of the project is the renowned Belarusian rock-singer, Lyavon Volski. The surprise was that for the St Valentine’s Show occasion, Krambambulya had invited female singers from a number of new Belarusian bands to perform duets with Lyvon. The invited singers were Masha Yar (Zhyhimont Vaza), Rusia (Indiga), Sviatlana Zieliankouskaja (Belarusian actress), Volha Samusik (Tarpach), Ania Hitryk (DetiDetej) and Nina Tsishko (opera singer).

The fantastic performance of Krambambulya which combined colorful costumes and makeup; the St. Valentine’s design of the club; and the fantastic work of the hosting showman Viktar Shalkevich who involved the public in different activities like declaring love to someone from the stage, all of these facts created a unique atmosphere which Krambambulya is famous for. That was truly an outstanding party after long period of empty stages in Belarus. The person who stands behind the idea of this great event and all the preparation and organizational process is the producer of Krambambulya, Hanna Volskaja. It was a great pleasure for Generation.bY to help with the organization of the party.
